Kurashiku rorita:Classical Lolita -
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Very plain, subdued colours, thoroughly Victorian, save for the shorter skirts. ALWAYS a headdress or bonnet. ALWAYS, otherwise it's not classical/classic lolita. Makeup plain and neutral shades, minimal.
Shop at: Classic Lolita, Moi meme Moitie, Metamorphose.

Kurorori:lilterally-'black lolita' -

Just black, black, NOTHING but black xD Black hair, maybe brown. Very gothic, but not gothic lolita. Still minimal makeup, maybe some black eyeshadow and of course, fake lashes are always good ^^ Japanese kurololi are usually very weird and talk strangely (long sentences, sometimes in old japanese O_o) and are obsessed with death...but that's in japan lol.
Shop at: Pretty much anywhere!

Shirorori:literally-'white lolita'
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Same as kurorori, but white! Any hair colour is fine, although black looks a bit odd. Blonde wigs are usually the way to go. Makeup much more girly, very minimal. Japanese shirololi act very bubbly and innocent, but not quite as bad as amorori (see below).
Shop at: Pretty much anywhere!

Amarori:Sweet lolita -

Hmmm...amarori...xD Well, in Japan they have a reputation for being annoying and ditzy (they usually act ditzy deliberately >_<), and most lolis dont like them and their strange teddy bear-carrying fetishisms.
But, the look, yes...white/antique white, pastel pink, pastel blue, NO OTHER COLOURS, PERIOD. Maaaaybe florals...occassionally, if it's still within those colours and not antikkulolita (see below). Usually carry teddy bears everywhere and talk reeeaaally high pitched and act silly, when in japan. Hair colour any other than black is ok. Except unnnatural colours lol, thats a given for lolita! They also have a taste for bonnets ^^
Shop at: Baby the Stars Shine Bright, Angelic Pretty, MAM.

Antikkurorita:Antique Lolita -

Florals + black or white. Makeup same as for kurashikurorita. Hair black, brown or blonde etc. Headresses usually, but not always.
Shop at: Metamorphose, Baby the Stars Shine Bright, MAM.

Himerori:Literally- Princess Lolita -

Pretty much any normal kind of loli, but with a crown. Usually furry parts to outfit, lots of red and 'hime cut', i.e straight black hair, maybe fringe/bangs too. Outfits tend to be very elaborate. Verrry expensive lol.
Shop at: Baby the Stars Shine Bright, Angelic Pretty, MAM.

Gosurori:Gothic Lolita, aka Elegant Gothic Lolita -

The phrase 'Elegant Gothic Lolita' isn't really used in Japan other than merchandising, because well...people cant really pronounce it. It's a phrase invented by Mana for his brand, Moi mem Moitie. It's almost the same as kurorori, except dark blue, white, and occassionally red are also used. Makeup, much more gothic, decorate eyeliner and black lipstick usually. Heavy influence from Moi Dix Mois and Moi meme Moitie, although nothing compared to Mana's bangyarorita following (see below).
Shop at:Moi meme Moitie is your best friend if you have lots of money, but most places stock gosurori.

Punkurori:Punk Lolita -

Plaids, chains etc. Pretty much anything goes as long as you have the standard puffy skirt!
Shop at: Putumayo, Mari's rock.

Bangyarorita:Band Lolita:SCARY STALKERS -
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

They really do scare me. Lolis obsessed with vk and oshare bands, who either cosplay or dress alike to them. Literally, there are girls in Japan who live and breathe Mana to the core of their very soul. They only listen to Mana's music, dress in his clothes whenever they can and only talk about Mana or something related to Mana.

And just because this REALLY needs to be made clear -

COURTNEY LOVE IS NOT LOLITA! SERIOUSLY, NOT EVEN A LITTLE BIT.
